"Because of Kratom's abilities to do so many things, I know I am facilitating someone to get to a better point in life."
- Glenda Mangold-Grider, AKA Volunteer
After a fulfilling life helping those in need through a successful career in nursing, Glenda continues to help others by volunteering for American Kratom Association. Glenda says she became involved with the American Kratom Association because it is the ONLY legitimate organization she can utilize to help as many people as she can.
Glenda says Kratom's abilities are so vast she can't help but be an activist for this herb. It's become a passion. Every day she feels like she has "touched" someone, somewhere and made even that small amount of time tolerable for them. Because of Kratom's abilities to do so many things, Glenda knows she is facilitating someone to get to a better place in life.
"As I have grown older and had some significant changes in my own life, I have discovered what can really be fulfilling for myself. I remember the reason again why I wanted to be a nurse in the first place; why I want to support others through this advocacy & what kept me going in the beginning of my career. I remember what someone I took care of a long time ago, said to me when I was a single mom in CNA, struggling to get through school and life during a particularly hard shift:
"Yes, Martha..." (End of shift, tired, beat and NOT a nurse yet.)
"There's a special place in Heaven for people like you."
I don't know about Heaven, but, I'm pretty content right now volunteering for the American Kratom Association. I'm sure I'm making a sizable dent for those in need and that's all I ever really wanted. "
The American Kratom Association thanks you, Glenda for your tireless support and efforts in serving to keep Kratom safe and legal to help others with physical wellness, substance abuse and mental health.
Glenda Mangold-Grider is also a full time mom.
